I work with men and women who are adult children of narcissistic abuse, as well as adults who have experienced narcissistic abuse in a romantic relationship.
Growing up with a narcissistic parent can be a confusing journey. Many of the clients I work with describe struggling with feelings of low self-worth, or not knowing who they are, and simply not feeling good enough. This may lead us to prioritize caring for others over ourselves or to think that if we work harder, look a certain way, or achieve our goals, we’ll finally feel like we’re enough. Yet no matter how hard we try to fix the outside, we’re left feeling confused and just not good enough.
I care deeply about working with survivors of narcissistic abuse and have both personal and professional experience with this area. As a counselor, I provide structured, supportive therapy. With over 15 years of counseling experience, I use Dr. McBride’s 5-step process as a foundation in addition to other best-practice therapies, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness. We’ll work together to understand and heal the experiences you’ve been through on a deep level. Through our work together, you’ll be able to process the trauma you’ve experienced, grieve the childhood you didn’t get to have, and rebuild your self-confidence. I know that the life you want is possible. I have helped many clients reduce anxiety and fear, rebuild their self-confidence, and take steps toward creating the life they desire.
I provide both in-office and telehealth sessions. Insurance is accepted.
