Alicia Lasa, Clinical and Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist (Canton de Fribourg, Switzerland and Online)

Being raised in a narcissistic family, with narcissistic parents, is like living in a boat that is not well equipped. It is like drifting in the middle of an ocean, where you are humanly abandoned. A child in this situation is subjected to the most indifferent, unstable, and stressful events, many of which a little girl or boy is not ready to handle. This type of traumatic childhood leaves a “dark hole” of emptiness, confusion, and loneliness that must be healed in adulthood.

You, as a unique person, have the beautiful responsibility of ending that legacy and become someone solid, with healthy self-esteem. You can create the capacity of your choosing and to invite the right relationships into your world to live a full life.

I have used Dr. McBride’s 5-Step recovery model, and I have started using it with my clients with great success. I have found it to be a great tool for getting rid of negative messages and achieve a release from lingering guilt and fear to allow you to start a new way of being.

As a systemic therapist and counselor, I work with my clients to overcome and get away from toxic relationships with family, friends, and business associates.

I am a Clinical and Health Psychologist and Consultant -with a specialty in Systemic Theoretical Orientation. I am also a researcher on the psychology of traumatization and its effects on personality dissociation. My integrative approach, with a base of humanistic psychology, allows me to work in the field of relationships regarding the full person as unique from three important aspects: psychological, emotional, and spiritual.

I currently have my own private practice in Fribourg, Switzerland, where I work as an independent therapist and counselor. I treat patients with a wide variety of problems.

My patients are adolescents, adults, families, couples, professionals, college and university students, creative types, and groups. All of them have a welcoming, open, and safe space in Fribourg for discussion, self-knowledge, and exploration.

I also work with people who have intellectual disabilities, under the premise of self-determination. My experience also includes the creation, preparation, and startup of educational programs and workshops for the personal development of victims of psychological abuse.
