Therapist Referral Network

Felicity Fong, MA, LPC, NCC (Jenkintown, PA and Telehealth in PA)

Growing up with a narcissistic parent can be tough. It's like having someone around who's more focused on themselves than on you. This can make you feel not good enough or constantly seeking their approval. It's a bit like being on an emotional rollercoaster, where you might feel praised one moment and criticized the next. Over time, this can mess with your confidence, making it hard to trust your own feelings and decisions. It’s tough, but recognizing it is the first step to healing.

As a licensed professional counselor trained in Dr McBride’s 5-step recovery model, I will be able to help you understand the effects of the past, set healthy boundaries, cope with the feelings of loss, and take control of your own life. It’s like a roadmap for healing, helping you move from a challenging past to a liberating future.

I am passionate about supporting adults who grew up with narcissistic parents. Being part of the WIEBGE therapist registry is important to me for a couple of reasons. First off, I want to offer a helping hand to those who might have had a tough time growing up, and I believe everyone deserves a chance at healing. Secondly, I've seen how empathy and a commitment to helping rewrite the narrative can make a big difference in someone's life, and I want to be a part of that positive change. Joining this registry allows me to connect with people who need support, share helpful tools, and guide them on a path toward healing and living a fulfilling life.

As someone who has a special interest in supporting adult children of narcissists, I’m here to listen and help you navigate the challenges of surviving narcissistic abuse. When working together, we will not only acknowledge your pain but create a narrative that honors your resiliency. Whether we’re unwrapping the layers of childhood echoes or exploring the nuances of grief, my goal is to empower you to tell a new, more liberating story.

I work with adult men and women along with teenagers ages 14 and up. I do not accept insurance at this time. However for out of network clients, I can provide a superbill which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I also offer a limited number of sessions on a sliding scale. If there’s any questions, you can reach out to me via email. I look forward to hearing from you!
